Cathy Tong
We founded Sterling Mobility Group in Monterey with a commitment to precision, discretion, and service done right.

All three of us are California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) graduates, and we each grew up overseas. Those experiences shaped our appreciation for global service standards and helped us recognize the unique character of the Monterey Peninsula.
​
Through our work in exclusive environments across the Peninsula—including private country clubs and major events like Monterey Car Week and the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am—we learned what true luxury requires behind the scenes.

Sterling Mobility Group was created to bring that standard into aviation detailing and concierge services. We are aviation specialists, proudly veteran-owned and ADA-certified, delivering disciplined, reliable service rooted in Monterey and operating statewide.
Our Team
Cathy Wa Yeung Tong is one of the three founders of Sterling Mobility Group and a proud servicewoman in the United States Army. Serving as an E-4 Engineer, she brings discipline, leadership, and resilience to the team. Her military experience instilled a strong sense of responsibility, accountability, and the ability to perform under pressure—values that directly shape SMG’s operational standards and culture.

Tong is also a decorated collegiate golfer and standout student-athlete. She earned her degree in Communications while competing in multiple U.S. Women’s Amateur Championships and was a multi-time All-Conference selection. Cathy’s competitive background, work ethic, and leadership make her an essential pillar of the Sterling Mobility Group team.
Liam Allder
Colin Huang
Liam Allder is a co-founder of Sterling Mobility Group, born and raised in Sundsvall, Sweden, where he developed a disciplined, detail-oriented approach shaped by both athletics and business. He earned a degree in Business Marketing, and the professional relationships he has built throughout Monterey County have been critical to SMG’s growth and positioning.

Liam is an Aviation Detailing Association (ADA)–certified technician, fully trained in ADA safety operating practices and customer relationship management systems, ensuring SMG operates at the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client engagement.

A decorated collegiate golfer at Cal State Monterey Bay, Liam competed in NCAA Division II championships, earned GCAA All-Region honors, and a multiple time winner during his collegiate tenure. His experience performing under pressure reinforces the precision, consistency, and professionalism he brings to SMG’s aviation operations.
Colin Huang is a co-founder of Sterling Mobility Group and an Aviation Detailing Association (ADA)–certified technician, well-versed in all aspects of aviation detailing, safety operating practices, and compliance standards. His technical training, paired with a detail-driven mindset, ensures precision and consistency across every aircraft SMG services.

A graduate of California State University, Monterey Bay (CSUMB) with a background in business and communications, Colin grew up overseas and developed a global perspective on professionalism and service. A highly accomplished competitive golfer, he has competed at collegiate and national levels, earning multiple All-Conference and All-Region honors.

At Sterling Mobility Group, Colin provides strategic direction and operational oversight, helping ensure the firm operates with accountability, intention, and an uncompromising commitment to quality.
